Scary Movies on Halloween
Seems like the parties I know of are on Saturday night this year. If I was to host a little scary-movie-watching party at my place on Friday night, would anybody be interested?

I'm thinking of popping-in John Carpenter's "The Thing," one of my all-time faves. (It's a fantastic movie whose nasty and inventive special effects have aged remarkably well.) If you haven't seen it, you should.

Or I could always pop-in one of YOUR favorites and see how it plays on the plasma TV.

Any takers?

Edit: Em asks a good question: when? Trick-or-treating ends at 8:00, so I'll push Play shortly after that. But feel free to drop by whenever. If you come by TOO early I'll still be working, but trust me, there's plenty here to keep you amused. (Be Kratos! Kill stuff!) And I'll fix you enchiladas or something.

Have a ton of fun!

I'm nearly always in the mood for a good scary film, especially on halloween - what time were you thinking?

Good question.

Trick-or-treating ends at 8:00, so I'll push "Play" shortly after that. But honestly, people can come by when they feel like it.

Wish I could. :) If I were going to host a scary movie fest, I would cheer for "In The Mouth of Madness". Cheesy at many moments, but a favorite of mine.
